Meet the Coach
Coach Caden
Coach Caden Byers is a Murrieta native and former Division 1 pitcher who grew up playing baseball in the same community he now coaches in. After starring at Murrieta Mesa High School, the 6'3" right-hander started his college career at Vanguard University, where he became one of the team's closers and posted a 1.06 ERA as a freshman.
He then moved to Irvine Valley College, where he became a key starter — going 6-3 over 74+ innings, striking out 59 batters, and earning First Team All-Orange Empire Conference honors. That season earned him a spot at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where he pitched in the Mountain West Conference at the Division 1 level. At UNLV he also received the Mountain West Scholar-Athlete Award and earned his degree in communication studies.
Caden's path through junior college and multiple programs up to Division 1 taught him what it takes to develop, compete, and earn opportunities at the next level. He now brings that experience back home to Murrieta. His training combines sound mechanics, a strong work ethic, and clear communication to help young players build skills, confidence, and a love for the game.
